With a single-fluid high-pressure dust suppression system, there is no need for an external air source (compressor) due to the high pressure of the water.
It operates without the need for a compressor because the water used is low flow and high pressure. The water coming from the high-pressure pump (40–45 bar / 580–650 psi) passes through the conical (Venturi) chamber inside the nozzle, where the narrowing structure increases its velocity and decreases its pressure.
This sudden physical change causes the water to break into micron-sized droplets (5–50 microns). As a result, effective atomization is achieved at the outlet in the form of high-speed and fine particles.
Single Fluid systems are particularly effective at suppressing PM10 and smaller particles.
This improves occupational health and safety and controls environmental dust dispersion, boosting production efficiency.
Since the water sprayed into the dust-generating area in this system is 5–50 microns in size and the system operates fully automatically, the occurrence of the following issues is not possible.
- Screen blinding
- Material sticking to conveyor belts
- Conveyor belts becoming wet and slippery
- Fine material and small-size filler particles coating the surface of coarse material
Single Fluid Applications
- Crushing and Screening Plants: Aggregate, Gold, Copper, Coal, Chrome, Zinc, Iron Ore, Limestone, Gypsum, Feldspar, Trass, Basalt, etc.
- Conveyor Belt Transfer Points effective dust suppression at material transfer areas.
